Many pills and transformations in X-Change Life come with temporary lasting effects. Below is a list of side effects that can be gained from a variety of sources:

• Live-In Maid – a side effect of the Ready-Maid™ pill by the WANGL corporation, can be acquired either doing the Ready-Maid sales demo (random chance), or by ignoring chores while male, in which case your stepdad gives you the pill in a sequence of 3 scenes. On the 3rd scene, the side effect is permanent. Essentially it means if you’re asked to do chores, you’ll be compelled to do them, and may gain arousal from each cleaning action.
• People Pleaser – a side effect of the Hot n’ Ready™ pill by the SWP corporation, can be acquired by doing the Hot n’ Ready demo and losing charm stats in the post-demo “survival mode”. You need to play the demo at least twice to get this mode. The side effect will make it harder to turn down requests, for instance if an NPC asks for you a blowjob, you won’t be able to convince him to go down on you instead – you’ll want to make him happy!
• Brainless Bimbo – a side effect of the Dumb Bitch™ pill by the SWP corporation, can be acquired by doing the product demo, and hitting 1 Intellect. It will make the player freeze up at inconvenient times, like when they’re trying to reject a guy, for example.
• Swallow or it’s permanent – a side effect of the New-U machine, if you don’t swallow at least 1 load of cum a day, you’ll be stuck in your new DNA, even when you turn back to being a male.
• Orgasm or it’s permanent – a side effect of the New-U machine, if you don’t orgasm at least once per day, you’ll be stuck in your new DNA, even when you turn back to being a male.
• Swallow to continue – a side effect of the New-U machine, if you don’t swallow at least 1 load of cum a day, your transformation will wear off early.
• Orgasm to continue – a side effect of the New-U machine, if you don’t orgasm at least once per day, your transformation will wear off early.
