At a high level, you select a lead, chooses a pill product to try and sell them (different companies will want different products), builds interest through topics, upsells order volume, and closes (optionally running a demo for extra commission). For instance, in the screenshot above, I only have &#8220;Cold&#8221; leads. Those are typically little companies that are hard to sell to. You&#8217;ll get a lot of those starting out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"585\" src=\"https:\/\/x-change.life\/wiki\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/research-and-make-notes.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1650\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Research<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>(optional but important)<\/em>&nbsp;(DynaCas \u25b6 Research \/ Targeted Research \/ Research All).<br>Unlocks company attributes and enables&nbsp;<strong>Show Research<\/strong>&nbsp;during the pitch for flat % gains. This is an important step, where you choose a product to match with the client you have. These are in-game companies that have their own suite of products, each with their own pros and cons. Try to pick a product that would be good for the role. For instance, for a Mixologist, what type of pill would be most suited to give their employees to transform them into? <br>In general, you want to match sexualization (strippers are more sexualized than baristas), ethics (low-ethic companies won&#8217;t care about side effects), role suitability (the Ready-Maid pill is GREAT for maids, etc), duration vs shift (don&#8217;t give a 4-hour pill when their employees need to work for 8 hours), and price vs revenue (don&#8217;t sell super expensive pills to low-revenue companies, they&#8217;re less likely to be able to afford it).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, you initiate the sale. You can either do a Quick Sale, or a normal one. This is the main &#8220;conversation&#8221; where you convince the company that the product you&#8217;ve chosen is right for them. In this case I&#8217;ve picked a very SAFE product, GoodGirl Basic, which is made by <a href=\"https:\/\/x-change.life\/wiki\/docs\/instagirl-pharmaceuticals\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"671\">InstaGirl Pharmaceuticals<\/a>. Anything InstaGirl makes is pretty safe, but also not very &#8220;specialized&#8221;. It&#8217;s a good bet for more high-ethics companies and such.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll get options here, whether to talk about a Topic, Bullshit them, or Upsell. Is the bulk discount a GOOD option to pick? The key is, how big the company is and how many &#8220;pillable employees&#8221; they have. I could still theoretically pull the sale off if I roll a 100 with my d100, or I can spend action points to buff the chance artificially!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"your-numbers--modifiers\">Your numbers &amp; modifiers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>These are some other things that change your likelihood to make sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sales Level \u2192 Base chance<\/strong><br>Initial chance comes from your sales rank (\u2248 25% \u2192 55% across ranks) plus a lead-type bonus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Desk Level \u2192 Close bonus<\/strong><br>Your desk adds&nbsp;<strong>+0% to +30%<\/strong>&nbsp;to the closing screen\u2019s \u201cRoll needed\u201d calc (Lv1 \u2192 Lv10).<br>Example labels in-game: \u201cSucky Desk\u201d (+0%) \u2192 \u201cCorner Executive Suite\u201d (+30%).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Secretary\/Hailey buffs<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>A&nbsp;<strong>+5% sale chance<\/strong>&nbsp;tag can appear (\u201cSecretary buff\u201d).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certain office events can&nbsp;<strong>block demo requests<\/strong>&nbsp;for that sale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Arousal penalty<\/strong><br>High arousal reduces your closing odds (<strong>\u221210% or \u221220%<\/strong>) on the final roll.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Action Points (AP)<\/strong><br>Spend at close for&nbsp;<strong>+10 \/ +15 \/ +20<\/strong>&nbsp;to the d100 roll; also used by some checks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"leads-101\">Leads 101<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A lead creates a random company with consistent ranges by tier and an optional&nbsp;<strong>\u201cplus\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;(high-volume) tag.
